WDK(Windows Driver Kit)のアンインストール

アンインストールがすんなり終わらなかったのでメモ。

WDKのインストールイメージ（iso）をDAEMON Toolsでマウントして、KitSetup.exeを起動してチェックボックスのチェックを全部外してOKをクリック。

The configuration of one or more Microsoft windows Driver Kit Release 6001.081017 kit components has been invalidated by the removal of required subcomponents (The affected components are indicated by triangular warning icons in the kit selection treeview).

In order to proceed, KitSetup must repair the damaged configuration(s) and return the computer to a known good configuration state

Please review the information KitSetup has gathered fo you to determine how best to proceed.

とか出るようだったら

HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Msdn\9.0\

に「Help」というキーを新規作成する。

再度KitSetup.exeを起動してチェックボックスのチェックを全部外してOKをクリック。

途中で止まって、

Unused Microsoft WDK Subcomponent Installation Detected!

KitSetup has detected installed subcomponents that are not needed by any of your configured kit components. This can occur when a configuration transaction is aborted due to error or user cancelation.

Please review the information KitSetup has gathered for you to determine how best to proceed.

とか出るようだったら

HLKM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Uninstall

で「WDK」で検索。ひっかかったキーのうちWDK関連と判断できればエクスポートでバックアップした上で削除。

再々度KitSetup.exeを起動。何かエラーが出るけどOKをクリック。それでUninstallが終わったことになった。

あとはC:\WinDDK、C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft KitSetup、スタートメニュー→プログラムの中にある関連ショートなどを削除して終わり（HKLM\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\KitSetupとかも消したかも）。

多少のゴミは残ってるかもしれないけど、とりあえずこれでOKだろうと。
